Read Ahead builds children’s confidence and motivation in reading and beyond. The program is open to students entering grades 1-5 at our partner schools. We are committed to connecting students to the mentoring and reading support they need to be successful in school and beyond. Scroll below to learn more, and click here to submit a permission form for your child today.

Read Ahead matches each student with 1 or 2 mentors for the school year to meet through video using Zoom. Mentoring sessions are 45 minutes and will be held once a week starting in October. Sessions include reading, discussion, playing games, and completing guided reading lessons using Lexia Core5, a fun and interactive online reading program!

Space is limited, so we encourage you to click here to submit your permission form as early as possible! Submitting the permission form is the first step and all you need to do to start.
